ILARIS

Injection Therapy

ILARIS is a prescription injection used to treat autoinflammatory Periodic Fever Syndromes, Still’s Disease, and Gout Flares. ILARIS injection therapy is available at  Optimum Care  Infusion Center.

About ILARIS® Injection Therapy

ILARIS targets and neutralizes interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), a protein that plays a key role in causing inflammation in the body. In certain autoinflammatory diseases, IL-1β is overproduced, leading to excessive inflammation and related symptoms.

By binding to IL-1β, ILARIS prevents it from interacting with its receptors, thereby reducing the inflammatory response. This helps alleviate symptoms such as fever, pain, and swelling, and can improve the overall quality of life for patients with these conditions.
